33 Years ago on 21 December 1963 Greek - Greek Cypriot EOKA terror organisation under the leadership of Makarios, Greek Orthodox Church and General Grivas started the annihilation of the Turkish Cypriots. The scenes below were common place in Cyprus. Greek paramilitaries and terrorists killed hundreds of Turkish Cypriots 103 Turkish Cypriot villages were burned down over 30,000 Turkish Cypriots were made refugees and the whole of the Turkish Cypriots were forced to live in 3% of Cyprus. This was all done in the name of ENOSIS (union with Greece). In following pages we will see that western world were not indifferent to Cyprus problem, yet they rewarded the Greeks by recognising them as the sole rulers of Cyprus
 These innocent children and their mother were not spared.While their farther a doctor was attending to the wounded in hospital they were massacred by Greeks.Organisers of these attacks on our people are still running south Cyprus.Why aren't they brought to justice ? |
When the world asks us to give up Turkey’s guarantee are they willing to take responsibility for these scenes in the future? Are they willing to let their sons die for us ?We think not, the only soldiers that would willingly die to save the Turkish CypriotS are the Turkish soldiers |

Every time a deliberate hail of Greek bullets kill turkish Cypriot women
and children , I hate Archbishop Makarios. And I have hated this bloodstained
man ever since he gave his blessing to that bandy little bandit Grivas
and EOKA to shoot down in cold blood our own men and women and children.
And now this arch hypocrite is giving his blessing to his young savage
dogs of war by calling the Turks “barbarians and criminals” Deliberately
he incites racial hatred and promotes religious war. ..... For nine years,
longer than both world wars he has been responsible for every drop of blood
that has been shed on this wretched island. He has been responsible for
the corruption of youth, the uncontrolled violence of EOKA thugs and the
murder of innocent.”

| "In this village of shame today I found
grim evidence of the hatred between Greeks and Turks that has bedevilled
this beautiful island. A few days ago, 1,000 people lived here .. . Then
in a night of terror 350 villagers - men, women and children - vanished.
They were all Turks. Today I was one of two British correspondents to drive
to the village to investigate the mystery. ... When I asked where are the
Turks the women averted their gaze. The men shuffled their feet and said
‘We don’t know. They just left.’ And when I came across the turkish homes
they were an appaling sight. Apart from the walls, they just did not exist.
I doubt if a napalm bomb attack could have created more devastation. In
the neighbouring village of Ayios Vassilios, a mile away, I counted 16
wrecked and burnt out homes. They were all Turkish. From this village more
than 100 Turks had also vanished. In neither village did I find a scrap

we are witnessing the exodus of Turks from villages. Thousands of people
are abandoning their homes, lands,herds: Greek terrorism is relentless.
This time, the rhetoric of the Hellens and the busts of Plato do not suffice

... The Constitution gives the Turkish community certain social guarantees.
It is a pity that these guarantees were not enough to prevent bloodshed.
These guarantees were not enough, specially if the President (Makarios)
continues to insist in abolishment of the constitutional rights of the

They don’t merely wish to deprive the Turks of all rights. They want to deprive them of the right to live. I have heard men say all Turks should die ... ‘I would like to live peaceably with the Greeks’ said one Turk, ‘But I do not see how it can be done’. Possibly he spoke for many others. ... As one of them said ‘My four year old daughter was shot by my next door neighbour. I don’t want to return and be killed’. ...” John White Evening post 15 - 01- 1964 “One of Packard’s first tasks was to try to find out what had happened to the 25 Turkish hospital patients. Secret discussions took place with a Greek Minister in the collapsed government. After a brief investigation, he was able to confirm local rumours. It appeared that Greek medical staff had slit the Turkish patients throats as they lay in their beds. Their bodies were loaded on to a truck and driven to a farm north of the city where they were fed into mechanical choppers and ground into the earth”.
